Known as one of the winners of “Pinoy Big Brother”PBB, a reality television show, Myrtle Sarrosa has been launched as a model for the men’s magazine FHM during the magazine’s Halloween party on Tuesday. The party event was held at Raven in Bonifacio Global City.
The cosplayer, at the young age of 19, went down and swept the runway with one of the most daring costumes she has worn in front of the viewing public to date. She cosplayed the character of Starfire, a super heroine from DC Comics.
Sarrosa personally revealed the cover of FHM Philippines for the November 2014 issue while wearing the two-piece, purple battle gear much like the character she is portraying. It was unveiled that the cover for the next said issue would be featuring her.
Sarrosa was asked how her reaction went when offered to pose for the men’s magazine, knowing that a lot of people will be looking at the cover and will be seeing her face and figure.
She replied that for her, when FHM asks a person to be featured on the cover, it means that she is sexy enough to be worth the cover page.
The young celebrity admitted that she was flattered and honoured to the bones when the magazine came to invite her. At the same time though, she felt very nervous because she needs to meet, reach and somehow, overcome a certain standard set for her.
The winner of the fourth teen edition of “PBB” which aired back in 2012 has made a name for herself through various cosplay competitions. She seems to be known not only in the local cosplay community for her colourful and detailed costumes designs but also for promoting the art of performing costume play to an even wider audience.
Sarrosa is a contract artist under Star Magic and she has made her appearance in a bunch of ABS-CBN programs, some of which includes “Moon of Desire” and “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan”.
Early this year, Myrtle Sarrosa was also seen in the drama film entitled “Once Upon A Princess”. Reference: abs fhm
