America needs registered nurses whose salary will reach the equivalent of P400,000 and there is a signing bonus of $1,000.
In a report by Joseph Morong on GMA News “24 Oras” this Monday, it was said that a company in America needs about 1,000 registered nurses and 200 medical technologists.
Additional for the salary of P400,000, immigrant visas will be given and the company will answer everything.
According to Janessa Medina-Bacolod of Ruru Global Recruitment Services, there is still a signing bonus of $1,000 for those who will be accepted.
America’s aging population is said to be the reason employers need more nurses.
Besides America, nurses are also needed in the Middle East such as Saudi Arabia.
Divine Lapena, applied as an assistant nurse in Saudi with a salary of P50,000 to P60,000 a month.
Aside from healthcare workers, there are also jobs in other countries in the Middle East that are needed in the tourism and hotel industry.
In Jordan, there are vacancies for butlers, house keeping staff, front office staff, executive managers and chefs.
The minimum wage is $400 or the equivalent of P20,000 per month. Overtime pay is not yet included, and it is said to be higher if there is work experience.
According to Medina-Bacolod, Filipinos are what employers want because they don’t need to be watched when they are hired.
