MANILA, PHLIPPINES—Known by many not only for his hosting career on the television variety show “Eat Bulaga”, Paolo Ballesteros becomes even more popular by posting his make-up transformations online.
A self-taught make-up artist, Ballesteros pays attention and studies even the smallest details of a celebrity’s facial characteristics and uses his own face as a canvas as he morphs himself into different “transformations”.
To finish it all up, Ballesteros puts on a wig, usually from Lynelle, inspired by the hairstyle identified with the subject that he is trying to portray. To complete the look in some cases, he even wears contact lenses to match with the celebrity’s eyes.
Ballesteros also strikes poses as how the original subjects would do and one could easily find photo results on the internet.
In the past months, he has shared photos on his recent makeup transformations as posted on his Instagram page. He also took takes on stars such as Audrey Hepburn, Tyra Banks, Nicole Kidman, Marilyn Monroe, Mariah Carey and even Nora Aunor, among others.
