A contestant from Cainta, Rizal easily won over the judges and the studio audience on “It’s Showtime” on Tuesday with his spot-on impersonation of Gary Valenciano.
Jero Von Bugarin, otherwise known as “The Wedding Singer,” performed Valenciano’s rendition of the Basil Valdez classic “Walang Hanggan” for the noontime program’s “PINASikat” segment.
It earned praises from the judges, which included co-host Jhong Hilario. He said: “Wala na akong masasabi. ‘Yung reaction pa lang ng madlang pipol. I think magkakaroon na kami ng singer sa grand finals.”
