Camarines Norte’s governor gave away his deepest apologies over the controversial sex scandal photos he got involved in. The recipients to his apology were his family members and the constituents.
Governor Edgardo Tallado said in a speech before his supports that he had asked for forgiveness over the fury of issues brought about by the said scandal.
Tallado expressed that he is just a mere human and humans make mistakes. Every person has his own weaknesses and he asked everyone to understand this.
Kung ako po ay nagkamali, tao lang po ako. May kahinaan din po ako. Ito po ay sana unawain nating lahat.
He also added that he still wants to repair his dwindling marriage with his wife, Josefina. He even apologized to the woman who was caught kissing him in the photos that were leaked.
Tallado promised that he will still continue his work as Camarines Norte’s governor even despite the scandal and he will do better. The governor also asked that the spreading of his scandalous photos and video should be put into a permanent halt.

The governor said in a Tagalog statement addressing his political competitors that they should stop circulating their posts on Facebook because the act itself is also rude. He said his actions had nothing to do with his work. He even told them to only bash him when he does something in line and related to politics and his work as a governor.
Tallado also added that he is facing everyone and is meeting them eye-to-eye because no such issue concerning politics was made. He did not steal anything from his province.
According to the governor’s camp, Tallado is currently seeking the help of the DOJ (The Department of Justice) in order to find out the identity of the person who leaked the alleged photos. His camp believes that the individual(s) behind the leak may be political opponent(s).
After his wife, Josefina, was reported missing, the scandal involving the governor surfaced and broke out for everyone to see.
Saying she hid out of fear of her husband, Josefina soon turned up alive and well and claimed that her husband accused her as the one who leaked the controversial photos online.
Josefina described the woman in the photo as the governor’s “bagong kinalolokohan”. The woman shown to be kissing Tallado was said to be her husband’s alleged 24-year old mistress. Reference: abs
